I’m thrilled to be a part of Camp Chesterfield’s Monday Night Zoom Talks! I’ll be sharing insight into some of the Ancient Egyptian love poems...there's more to them than meets the eye! We’ll look at what's hidden in the words and phrases and the spaces in between to find clues to Ancient Egyptian beliefs and practices. We’ll look at aspects of the Egyptian love goddess Hathor, the clues to the love between Queen Hatshepsut and her highest official, Senenmut, as well as hear about a personal experiences of a modern day woman known as Omm Sety.
