The Times My Soul Remembers
The Goddess Diaries, July 25, 2026
Sometimes I don’t remember right away what day it is but that’s because I live in more than one world. As a Priestess, an Oracle, and an embodiment of the Divine Feminine, I’ve been through great moments of forgetting. We all have, but there are those of us who DO remember and we’re gathering together.
If I close my eyes on a dark starry night I can still hear the chanting and feel the warmth of the fires that burned, their sparks being lifted into the heavens like prayers to the stars. Those were the times of Remembering. Those are the times my soul remembers.
I wonder….do you remember, too?
What if we could hold these memories in our hearts like a melody that we return to whenever we need to feel held? What if we couldn’t really tell if the melody was calling to us or if we were calling out into the darkness for it to come to us? What if that didn’t really matter?
As I sit here on the floor of my small but sweet bedroom on a Saturday morning, my candle burning on my bedside altar, my dresser transformed into a sacred space to remember the birthdays of the Gods and Goddesses, my watercolor paper and paints and paintings scattered on the floor with me and my coffee, laptop, and horse rug, I’m drawn into memories and a longing to be in these moments always. Sometimes there comes a sadness that can only be described as a ‘homesickness’, but I know that it’s okay to miss some things. It makes the memories sweeter.
I’m sitting here on the floor of my bedroom with my candle burning and surrounded by my watercolor supplies because I was preparing meditations and teachings for my communities. Like many Priestesses and Oracles, I have other responsibilities throughout the week and look forward to these special and sacred times where I can BE, where I can breathe, and where my soul can remember and create. I use the feeling of anticipation to maintain my connection to All That Is, my joy and ecstatic state of being, and my creative flow and then ask Time to slow down as I sink into memories and reconnect to my whole-ness.
My communities fill this longing in my soul and I’m filled with gratitude for all the joy and connection they bring to me. I’m filled with gratitude for the shifts and magic and beautiful transformation it brings to everyone participating. I’m filled with gratitude for the space we share and the sacred space we hold for each other as we navigate forgetting and remembering together.
If you've been reading this with an ache in your heart, or feel a soft gentle pull, perhaps you're remembering, too.
That’s why these spaces mean so much to me. They’re so much more than memberships or places to receive teachings. They’re living circles of remembering….places where we gather to listen, to create, to honor the Divine, to ask questions, to share what we've forgotten, and to celebrate what returns. Every meditation, every gathering, every teaching is another thread that helps us find our way back to ourselves.
And it’s these special threads that pull us together in the tapestry of the sacred.
If your soul has been longing for a place where you don't have to explain why the stars feel familiar, why ritual feels like home, or why your heart knows there is something ancient stirring within you, I would love to welcome you.
Hathor’s Joy: An Oracle Circle is here whenever you're ready to remember with me.
