The Narmer Palette from around 3200–3000 BC is one of the most significant discoveries from Ancient Egyptian history. Intricately carved it shows through symbolism the unification of the Two Lands of Egypt by First Dynasty ruler, Pharaoh Narmer. It is also one of the earliest examples of hieroglyphic writing.
