The Universe always answers....but not always the way you expect

The Universe always answers, but sometimes it’s not what you think at first. The answer is like a code, a secret code for which you need a secret decoder ring. It’s a part of the journey of leaning into trusting your Self, trusting the Universe, and feeling your way into your intuitive gifts. The journey to the answer is a bit winding, filled with the breeze through the treetops and the scent of flowers swirling around you in rhythm with the songs of the birds. It feels deeper than an everyday experience. It feels like magic. And yet… it can also feel confusing.
Because sometimes what arrives doesn’t look like the answer you were expecting.
That’s what I was experiencing recently. After my Year of the Snake, clarity began to unfold around a new direction in my life. And in the midst of it, I found myself contemplating something very practical—how to support myself financially after losing my job due to health challenges. For decades, I worked in bookkeeping. And while there were parts of it I enjoyed, the reality of sitting at a desk for 40 hours a week—entering numbers, tracking expenses, managing receivables—slowly drained something essential from me. It felt like a quiet dimming of my spirit.
But it was familiar. Logical. Safe. So I considered returning to it.
And almost immediately, the Universe responded. Someone reached out to ask if I’d be interested in doing bookkeeping for their company. “Ah,” I thought, “this is the answer.”
I felt so seen and heard by the Universe but it had something else to teach me and something more nuanced to show me.
When I arrived for the interview, I immediately recognized one of the women—it was someone from my childhood. She had cared for my sister and me when we were young, and years later, I had babysat her children. There was warmth. Familiarity. A sense of alignment. But as the conversation unfolded, it became clear that I wasn’t fully qualified for what they needed. They were looking for a full-charge bookkeeper—essentially an accountant. And that wasn’t me.
I left knowing I wouldn’t receive the job. And I found myself asking: Why would I be led here… only to be turned away? And then, quietly… the answer came. This wasn’t rejection. It was redirection. A living, breathing message from the Universe: “This is not your path anymore. You are meant for something else. Something more alive. More meaningful. More aligned with YOU and who you are.”
And in that space of openness, something began to awaken. Not something new… but something ancient. A path that has been unfolding for over 20 years. A remembering. The answer came that it wasn’t my calling….that I was supposed to be doing something else….something I loved…something that was meaningful, not just for me but for others. I began to get visions of a new direction; not completely new, but one that had been literally over 20 years in the making.
It was all in my stars. The stars that are held in the constellations within the body of the sky goddesses, Nuit and Hathor, the goddesses that had been by my side since the beginning of Time through lifetimes in oracle temples and as a priestess, and the beginning of my spiritual journey in this lifetime to remember my oracle and priestess lineage. Time and time again they’ve held my North Star and although there have been times I’ve lost sight of it, they hold it nevertheless and as I allow the silence to hold the messages, I see it there shining brightly illuminating my path forward.
As I softened into stillness, into listening, into trust— I could feel it again. Shining. Guiding. Calling me forward.
Maybe you’ve felt this too.
Maybe you’ve asked the Universe for clarity…only to receive something that didn’t quite make sense. Maybe you’ve followed a breadcrumb that seemed promising—only to find it wasn’t meant for you after all. Maybe you’ve wondered if you heard it wrong, if you can trust what you’re receiving or if your intuition is really speaking.
But what if nothing was a mistake? What if the answer wasn’t wrong… just coded? What if the path isn’t about forcing clarity—but about learning how to feel your way into it? To trust the whispers. To understand the language of your intuition. To recognize the sacred guidance that is already moving through you.
Because that’s what this journey has been teaching me. Not just how to receive answers…but how to become the woman who trusts them. The woman who walks as an Oracle. The woman who allows joy to guide her. The woman who remembers her connection to something ancient, sacred, and deeply alive.
This is the space I am now opening. A sacred sanctuary for women who feel this call…who know there is something deeper speaking to them…and who are ready to gently return to their intuition, their joy, and their divine feminine wisdom. A space to soften.To remember.To awaken what has always been within.
